PRODUCT RECALL SEARCH

Available for the additional fee of $400.00

The intent of this Product Recall Search is to provide the Client with additional information about the appliances, products, and/or materials that are specifically listed below. This may include recalls, refunds, hazards, alerts, and other information that is available from the locations stated below upon the date of execution of this agreement.

This agreement includes a one time search of the locations below, and not an ongoing monitoring of information available at these locations. At the inspector's discretion, the inspector may disclose within the body of the main inspection report knowledge of specific recalls or other information regarding products or materials that the inspector is knowledgeable about without this agreement preventing this disclosure, or extending this responsibility to include other appliances, products, or materials within the report.

The Product Recall Search is limited to information that is available free of charge at the following resources: the manufacturer's internet site and the Consumer Products Safety Commission internet site. This research is not exhaustive. Additional information may be available from other sources that are not included in this search. Examples of other sources include, but are not limited to: the Center for Disease Control, the Environmental Protection Agency, and other local & state government agencies. The Inspector is not responsible for interpreting the research, but only for supplying information available from the resources named above. All interpretation, recommendations, and actions based on the Product Recall Search information are the responsibility of the Client. If no information is found on a particular appliance, product, or material at the above listed resources, a report stating "no information available" will be provided to the Client for each appliance, product, or material.

The Client agrees to pay the sum of $400.00 for this Product Recall Search of the appliances, products, or materials listed below [10 (ten) appliances, products, or materials total]. Client represents that this obligation is a family obligation incurred in the interest of the family.

This service is offered to all clients at the inspection. The paragraph above is essentially the agreement the client will sign, short of choosing the items you want checked.
